Microsoft’s StyleCop is going to be OpenSource
What is Microsoft’s StyleCop ?
Microsoft’s StyleCop is a source analysis tool to check the code against the coding styles .Thus it focuses on Documentation , Layout, Maintainability, Naming conventions , Readability , Spacing etc.
Now ,an happy and an interesting news , Microsoft has decided to make StyleCop an open source project (under the MS-PL license) available on CodePlex giving more opportunity for the developers to contribute to the project.
The Microsoft’s StyleCop CodePlex site will go live in a week’s time .
