Windows Phone 7 is simpler, lighter, and faster than Android. I’d only recommend going without dual-boot to get 100% performance of the phone. I ran Gingerbread (2.3.4) on my HD2 and scored higher quadrants than many phones including Nexus. I had NO issue with it but prior to my HD2 I had a HD7 and loved it. I do not use the Marketplace and other live services so It was not an issue to switch from Android to WP7. Those who want to use apps and other things like that I recommend Android. Others who use the phone for calls, texts, and such than Windows is the way!
I feel that the Windows Phone 7 is better than the Android, like Michael, it is faster than the Android. I didn’t think the iPhone could be beaten on speed, but the Windows Phone 7 has. It syncs perfectly and has the best user interface. I would probably say the Android is better for apps, but I think the Windows phone will catch up with this soon.
The company I work for recently wrote a blog article on the best 4 smart phones for small businesses, and we considered the Windows Phone 7 as the best, with Android coming in at 3rd. It’s quite an interesting read and can help anyone who isn’t sure on which phone to buy http://www.lucidica.com/blog/cto/the-best-smart-phone-for-small-business/
