Now you can Code in Windows Phone 7 with Pex4fun

Microsoft’s Research Group ( Research in Software Engineering (RiSE) ) has come up with an interesting fun project that allows the users to program in Microsoft’s c# , Visual Basic.NET and F# in the Windows Phone 7 .

Pex4fun inclues a code editor with

  • Auto-completion
  • Snippets
  • background compilation

Pex4fun was released on March 12 , 2011 under the games category and is free to download from Marketplace

Looks like i need to request for a feature to include Visual Studio (lite version may be ) inside Windows Phone 7 lol :) .Who knows … this might also become reality with the pace developers are writting Apps for Windows Phone 7 .
