Export Ribbon Configuration in Office(Word) 2010
In one of my earlier posts , i explained about customizing the Ribbon in Word 2010 . This posts goes further and provides another feature in Word 2010 that lets the users to import and export the Ribbon Configuration that was modified .
To import or export the Ribbon configuration , right click on the ribbon and click “Customize the Ribbon” button and you will find the import and export buttons just at the buttom of the Customize dialog .
So , when you move on to another machine , you can simply export the ribbon configuration from your old PC and import it to the new PC .
The format of the file that is exported or imported will be exported office UI file .
