How to change the default view for new Excel worksheets in Office 2010 ?
When you open Excel , you can see the worksheets that are newly created will be displayed in NOrmal view mode .
There are actually 3 different views for the new Excel sheet .
- Page Layout View
- Page Break Preview
- Normal View
Changing the layout might be useful when you want to print the excel sheet etc .
To change the view of the new excel sheet in Excel 2010 , follow the below steps .
1. Click File Menu and then Opetions

2. In the Options Dialog -> General tab , find the category “When Creating New WorkBooks” . Under this category , you will find different view in the dropdown “Default View for new Sheets”.
2. Select the Page Layout view and click ok . Now the default view for the newly created worksheet would be the page layout like below
