Google’s new Books API released
Google has released its new Books API in CodeLabs that allows the developers to write Applications and query the books which are searchable on books.google.com which includes the metadata , pricing and many more .

Google also mentioned that the previous GData and JavaScript API will still be available where as the ongoing development will be more focussed on the Google Books API .
