How to show and hide comments and indicators in Excel 2010 ?
Usually , Excel displays the comments in the excel worksheet with the indicator . When the user hovers over the indicator , the comment is displayed .

You can change this behaviour easily in Excel 2010 to either disable the indicator and comment or even show the comment by default without indicator .
1. Go to File Menu – > Options
2. In the Excel Options , go to the Display section of the Advanced Options Tab .

3. In the group ” For cells with comments , show ” , you can hide the comment or show the comment via the radio buttons .
That’s something nice from Microsoft
I usually attach important data related to anything as comment and this has been quite useful when I refer any xls after few weeks or month specially by test sheet where I store test details. Thanks for sharing this tip man, look forward for more interesting xls tips.
how could we get rid of just the indicator, retaining the display of Comment on hover ?
