Battery Saver in Windows Phone Mango

The Windows Phone 7 Mango includes a Battery Saver Option in the Settings menu that lets the users to turn off things easily with just few clicks / selection .

To use the Battery Saver in Windows Phone Mango .

Select the settings from the App list on your Windows Phone

In the System Panorama page , select  battery saver

Now , you should see the battery saver screen , you should see the option .

“Always turn on Battery Saver when battery is low” and ” Turn on Battery Saver now , until next charge ” .

Select the one’s that are appropriate .

Note that the Phone can turn off some services to preserve the battery like automatically receive email or apps wont run in the background etc … Instead you can get your mail manually when selecting any of the option .

There is also an interesting Info here .

The Battery Info is shown which displays the following

  • Remaining battery life
  • Estimated time remaining
  • Time since last change

The Battery info lets the users know how long the battery will last before the user can charge .

Note that the WP7 Mango is in the Beta stage at the time of writing this blog post .
