Is this WordPress Message on IE9 right ?
Well , i updated my blog to WordPress 3.2 and immediately after the update , ended up seeing the following message in the dashboard.
You are using an insecure browser
It looks like you’re using an insecure version of Internet Explorer. Using an outdated browser makes your computer unsafe. For the best WordPress experience, please update your browser.
Update Internet Explorer or learn how to browse happy..
I was taken to surprise by the message .
The version that i have is IE9 ( thats the latest ) and wondering why i received the message . The Update Internet Explorer link also points to the Internet Explorer .
This could possibly be an error .. ( The Message could have been displayed by mistake ) .
Has any one got the similar message in their WordPress Dashboard ??
Update : Just found the reason for this Message .. The Compatibility Settings was turned on. When the Compatibility Settings was disabled , it does not show the message .
Thanks Alvin for the solution

Yes, I get the same message in my Dashboard after upgrading WordPress last night. I’m using IE9, also.
Do you have compatibility mode turned on? IE9 might be emulating IE6.
Super Alvin !!! You are right
Never thought this could be the reason . Yes it was on and looks like that caused the problem
Thanks
I get the same message on IE9 64bit without compability mode. Maybe a mistake…
Many thanks for figuring this out and posting the answer!
Disabling the Compatibility View solved this problem for me.
How to change compatibility mode? Where it is located?
Press Alt , You will get a Menu and then tools -> Compatibility view settings …
Thank you, very helpful.
