Well , i was waiting for it and here’s what i got today . Yes , its the Windows Blue Screen of Death Error in my system using Windows 8 Developer Preview .

I got this twice and each one’s different .

First one was

“Your PC ran into a problem that it couldn’t handle, and now it needs to restart.”

You can search for the error online: HAL_INITIALIZATION_FAILED”

The Second one was

“Your PC ran into a problem that it couldn’t handle, and now it needs to restart.”

You can search for the error online:KMODE EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED

But , in Windows 8 , you can see it a bit different with a sad smile . Its a simple Blue Screen of Death

I am not sure what caused the problem but a clean boot of my Virtual Machine in VMWare / Virtual Box solved the problem and Windows 8 started working normally .
