Silence or mute the Click Sound in Windows 7
By default , when you click in Windows 7 , you will hear a sound . You can Silence this sound or mute the Click Sound in Windows 7 by changing the setting in the Control Panel.

1. Navigate to Control Panel -> Sound .
2. In the Sound Window Dialog , click the Sounds tab. Select Start Navigation in the Program and in the Sounds dropdown , select None and Click OK.
